From a young age, I was magnetically drawn to creating characters. I’d spend hours designing whole groups who belonged to the same world, though I rarely wrote their backstories or built much beyond them. I was content simply knowing who they were and that they existed. Character design remains my favorite outlet, and I’ve found that the more time you spend with a character, the more you uncover about both them and the world they inhabit.
